Mr. Christofides started his career in construction with Ove Arup & Partners where he worked as a Resident and Design Engineer from 1989 to 1991. In 1992 Mr. Christofides came to the UAE region to work for Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises as a Project Engineer. After leaving he joined W.S. Atkins & Partners Overseas in 2004 working as a Site Construction Manager.

In 2006 Mr. Christofides joined Arabtec Cnstruction L.L.C where his first assignment was to handle the design and build of the Emirates New Technical Centre at Dubai International Airport as a Project Manager. He has worked on prestigious and iconic projects such as 21st Century tower and Jumeirah Beach Residence, Palazzo Versace, D1 Tower, Tiara Palm Dubai Hotel and Tiara Residences.

Mr. Christofides has held the post of Executive Director since 2006.

Mr. Christofides holds a B.Sc Engineering major in Structural Engineering from McGill University, Canada. He also holds an M.Sc in Civil Engineering Concrete Structures from the same university.
