ALDAR Properties, PJSC has awarded a preliminary scope for completion of design and start of construction of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi to the joint venture of Arabtec Construction, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Arabtec Holding, PJSC and Aktor S. A. of Greece.

The 417,000 square metres project will be an architectural icon in Abu Dhabi and is targeting a Gold Level Leadership Energy and Environmental Design Certification (LEED). The facility is compromised of a 360-bed Multi-Specialty Hospital, a 324-examination room clinic, extensive public and retail spaces, an administration building, and approximately 3,100 car parking spaces. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is intended to be a destination for world-class healthcare in the Middle East.
