Arabtec has just set another world record of operating the highest Construction Hoist in the World at 688.7 metres above ground level on the Burj Dubai Project.

In addition to reaching this record height, Arabtec has also documented zero percent accident in dismantling the 7 hoist packages; a safety record that matches the highest safety and quality standards.

Because of this unique achievement, Arabtec is proud of the team of competent and experienced professionals who are very dedicated and very capable to “climb” to even further heights. The credit goes to our hoist crew lead by the Foreman, Mr. Franco Torres and the Hoist Engineer, Mr. Epifanio (Jun) Talania and closely supervised by our Senior Tower Crane and Hoist Engineer, Mr. Enrique Oro who worked professionally and continuously to ensure that they deliver our standard of quality and another world record.

Our latest achievement at Burj Dubai Tower is in addition to the one established in 2007 for having the construction hoist operating on the tallest mast in the world at +/- 400m.

The last external construction hoist was successfully and safely dismantled on 19th April 2009.
