With a final contract value of AED 470 million, the Emirates Palace Hotel is located along the Corniche in Abu Dhabi. The contract excluded the MEP package, Finishes and Fit out packages, which were separately awarded. The hotel is owned by the Abu Dhabi government, and is currently managed by the Kempinski Group. Comprises 302 rooms and 92 suites, the Emirates Palace is reputed to be the most expensive hotel ever built. Much of the interior decor is in gold and marble. The main central area houses an expansive marble floor, balconies and a large patterned dome above, picked out in gold. This was a joint venture project.
