Arabtec Egypt for Construction SAE was founded in 2010 in Egypt as a partnership between Arabtec Construction L.L.C, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arabtec Holding PJSC, and Amer Group Holding Company SAE with a 55% shareholding for Arabtec Construction L.L.C.

The aim of Arabtec Egypt for Construction SAE, managed by Arabtec, is to become a leading contractor in the ongoing growth of the Egyptian construction and infrastructure markets with focus on residential, infrastructure and commercial projects.

The first project awarded to Arabtec Egypt was the Hanging Gardens, developed by the Amer Group it will upon completion have an estimated construction value in excess of EGP 300 million. Another project awarded to the subsidiary is the Al Marassi project, a residential villas and townhouse project located in Sidi Abdul Rahman in the North Coast of Egypt.
