Arabtec Construction Syria L.L.C



The wholly owned subsidiary Arabtec Construction Syria L.L.C was established in 2008 and is part of the geographical expansion the Arabtec Group is embarking on. Construction in Syria is very promising, the country invests in infrastructure, industrial projects, commercial development and residential buildings. Arabtec Syria has already been awarded Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2004) ISO certification and is certified by OHSAS (18001:2007) for its Safety and Health Management System. Projects executed in Syria include the Eighth Gate, inspired by the legendary seven gates that were the access point to Syria’s rich civilization. In 2010 Arabtec Syria was also awarded the contract to execute the construction work of the Yasmeen Rotana Hotel.
