Target Engineering Construction Company, W.L.L. was established in 1975 and is a leading single source EPC contractor with stand alone specialties. It has a special category classification in marine works, buildings and steel structure works in Abu Dhabi, and is licensed to build towers with an unlimited number of floors. The company, which operates through four major divisions – Target Civil, Target Mechanical, Target Electrical and Target Marine, has executed projects that include a combination of civil, mechanical, marine construction, electrical, and instrumentation works for both onshore and offshore-based projects. The electromechanical scope of works includes oil and gas process and piping, steel structure fabrication and installations, tankage, cathodic protection, SCADA systems, industrial high/low cabling, and related testing/commissioning works. Additionally, the company has its own Marine Transport division, owning landing craft (ISM certified), barges, tugs, and motor boats, all of which comply with the maritime requirements of UAE and Qatar.

Major customers include the state-funded and private property developers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai for the buildings and marine development within the Emirates. Target also works as a main contractor for all the oil companies and subsidiaries operating in Abu Dhabi and Qatar namely: ADNOC, ADCO, ADGAS, ADMA-OPCO, GASCO, TAKREER, BOROUGE, and major EPC contractors like TECHNIP, FISIA, SNAMPROGETTI, and SIEMENS.
